Classes and Camps

Several inspirational programs are offered during the summer. Our experienced faculty and guest instructors teach all summer classes. Camps are scheduled for two weeks in June and five weeks in July-August. Additional camps and workshops may be offered, so please check the schedule or give us a call 216-295-2222.

Themed Camp Weeks
for Twirling Tots and Young Dancers

You will love seeing your child’s eyes sparkle with excitement as they jump for joy during their summer dance journey twirling and leaping with confidence and strength. Watch them blossom and glow. Students are encouraged to dress in costume attire or use items from the costume wardrobe. Camp includes a snack break (parents provide a nut free snack for your child), story-based dances, and crafts each week.

June

Week 1: June 7–June 10 Winter’s Ball

Join us for a winter ball celebrating sparkling snowflake royalty. We will be dancing and twirling with grace and elegance. We will conclude the day playing our very own snowball game. 

Week 2: June 14–June 17 Peter & the Wolf

Students will bring this classic tale to life exploring the music of Peter and the Wolf. Students will learn about the instruments that make up the characters of this tale and explore movements that mimic the animals of the tale. Students will create rhythms while playing instruments. We will end the day with a game of “What time is it Mr. Wolf?”

July/August

Week 1: July 5- July 8 Winter’s Ball

Join us for a winter ball celebrating sparkling snowflake royalty. We will be dancing and twirling with grace and elegance. You will create your very own snow wand and crown.  We will conclude the day playing our very own snowball game. 

Week 2: July 12–July 15 Peter & the Wolf

Students will bring this classic tale to life exploring the music of Peter and the Wolf. Students will learn about the instruments that make up the characters of this tale and explore movements that mimic the animals of the tale. Students will create rhythms while playing instruments while also creating their own wolf during craft time.. We will end the day with a game of “What time is it Mr. Wolf?”

Week 3: July 18–July 22 Adventures in Wonderland

Join us as we venture though Wonderland! Students will journey through our garden of talking and dancing flowers. We will make a quick stop at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party for a snack (parents provide a nut free snack for your child) and create a mad hatter headband.  Students will also learn jazz skills dancing at the Tea Party and finish the day with a game of Simon Says.

Week 4: July 25– July 29 Coppelia

Students are invited to bring their own doll or stuffed animal to class as they learn about the classic ballet tale of Coppelia. Dancers will twirl and leap to the music dancing as various toys. Dancers will also role play, as they teach their dolls to perform ballet moves. Dancers will create a matching wearable craft for themselves and their doll. Class will end with a game of toy charades. 

Week 5: August 2–August 5 Adventures of Mother Goose

Join us as we dance through the classic tales of Mother Goose. Students will explore classic mother goose poems along with the patterns we hear and create patterns with our bodies. Dancers will learn fundamental tap moves to continue exploring patterns further. The dancers will create their own Humpty Dumpty puzzle concluding the day with a game of music man.

Mondays & Tuesdays: Twirling Tots 9:30 am–12:00 pm

  • Tuition $110

Wednesdays & Thursdays: Young Dancer 9:30 am–12:00 pm

  • Tuition $100

Level I/Level II Camp: June 7-24, 2021

For the younger dancer looking to maintain and improve artistry and technique during the summer, this 2-week camp offers students an opportunity to explore a variety of techniques.

Classes will be held Monday–Thursday for three weeks.

  • Ages 8-12
  • 9:00 am-9:55 am Stretch & strength
  • 10:00 am–11:45 pm Ballet
  • Lunch-please provide your dancer with a nut free lunch
  • 12:15 pm-1:15 pm Jazz or Modern
  • Pricing:
    • $25 per class
    • All 3 daily classes: $60 per day
    • $200 per week
  • Privates are available upon request

Ballet Prep for Summer Abroad: June 7-24, 2021

Classes are geared to prepare students attending summer intensives away from home. They need to arrive at their program with technique on par to the level in which they auditioned and have the stamina to be their best when they attend their summer programs.

Classes will be held Monday–Thursday for two weeks.

  • Ages 11 & up
  • 9:00 am-9:55 am Stretch & strength
  • 10:00 am–11:45 pm Ballet
  • Lunch-please provide your dancer with a nut free lunch
  • 12:15 pm-1:15 pm Pointe
  • Pricing:
    • $25 per class
    • All 3 daily classes: $60 per day
    • $200 per week
  • Privates are available upon request

Five weeks July 5–August 7, 2021

Level I-Intermediate/Advanced Technique

These camps are designed for those students wishing to strengthen their technique during the summer months. In addition to technique, students will take Pilates, conditioning, yoga, and choreography. Students will also learn about dance history, stage make-up, musical theater, and costuming to name a few.

Classes will be held Monday–Friday for five weeks.

  • Ages 9 & up
  • 9:00 am–2:30 pm (Level I)
  • 9:00 am–3:30 pm (Level II and higher)
  • Extended day option until 5:00 pm
  • Activities will be planned on a weekly basis
  • Conditioning, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Choreography, Dance History, Dance Film, Guest speaker
  • Please pack a lunch (nut free), snack and water
  • Pricing:
    • Level I: $375 per week/$1700 for all 5-weeks
    • Level II and Intermediate/Advanced: $500 per week/$2200 for all 5-weeks

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available by request. These classes are designed to supplement a serious student’s training. Classes are available based on studio and teacher availability. Please consult the front desk for availability and pricing information. Pricing varies per instructor.
